ugh, that moment when you have literally one outfit you can wear (because it’s a theme party and you thrifted an outfit specifically for this theme) but you feel too fat to wear it.

i felt fine when i tried it on yesterday. but today, i’m thinking about putting it on, and i’m just like… gross.

OH MY GOD

So this woman I used to be friends with… one of her best friends died last night in a car crash. She posted about it on facebook.

And then somebody asked, “any idea if it was his new car?”

WHAT THE FUCK.

My friend responded rather gracefully with “It was his friend’s car, not his new one.” And the person who asked the question liked the comment.

I hate the universe.

HER BEST FRIEND JUST DIED AND YOU NEED TO KNOW IF HIS CAR IS OKAY.

I would have just deleted the person as soon as they asked. That’s not cool dude.

i can never not reblog this.
I will always reblog this.
 It’s an automatic reblog.
that’s so sick. Rewarded for killing people but hated for loving them. This whole world is corrupt.
oh my god, why have I not seen this before
:((
Seen before, but always worth reblogging!
Had to.
always reblog

:( awhh!!

Omg.

I will reblog this every time… a) it’s dreadfully sad, and b) it’s so strange to see something that I think of as “mine” on tumblr. No, this isn’t my photo. But I know the stone well.
Here’s the full stone:

The United States of America honors the memory of Leonard P. Matlovich. This certificate is awarded by a grateful nation in recognition of devoted and selfless consecration to the service of our country in the Armed Force of the United States. - George Bush, President of the United States

Notice there’s a grave for another gay person buried right behind this. This “neighborhood” of the cemetery is final resting place of J. Edgar Hoover, who as you may know never confirmed himself to be gay, but it’s suspected that he was deeply in the closet. There are plenty of straight folks buried in this area too, but many gay people have chosen to be buried in this area, probably because of Hoover’s gravesite. There are gay people and couples buried all over the cemetery (maybe it’s because it isn’t a church cemetery… but Congressional actually feels much gayer than most I’ve been to!), but they tend to be concentrated in this region.
The bench you can see in the left of the full photo is one of my favorite memorials anywhere. The man hasn’t died yet (at least, he hadn’t at the time of this photo, but I took this in 2010), but has already purchased his plot and his marker.

Never Again - Never forget. 20 Aug 1936. “If you have done nothing to erase prejudice, wherever it exists, best weep for yourself and your country.” - Cliff Anchor.

Okay I’m gonna stop nerding out now but seriously this is one of my favorite places in the universe, so if you ever go to Washington DC you should definitely try to make time to visit Congressional Cemetery. If you talk to Dayle, tell her Katie sent you. :)

I think I speak for everyone when I say… I’m sick of your bullshit, gloves.

doublesevens:

Yes that includes you, rubber gloves.

OH, I ASSIST IN MEDICAL PROCEDURES.

Go to hell, gloves.

I’m sorry to say that I had forgotten what day it is.

I blame gloves.
