My dad raised me on Wu-Tang Clan. I’ve never been more certain of anything in my life than the love I feel for this group.

My girlfriend and I (the lighter of the two)! First lesbian couple in the history of my all white, Christian private school. She gets me threw more than I could have imagined. I’m going to marry this girl:)

I drew this portrait of John with one of his more famous ( and one of my favourite) quotes, in the style of Lichtenstein. I had to edit the quote a little to make it fit on the board though. I just thought I’d share. I only wish I had found a way to sneak DFTBA onto the piece somehow

I’m tired of being dissed and bitched at for not being trans*…newsflash: people who are cis can be prejudiced against, too.
I’m a pacifist (because I’m a pseudo-Quaker yippee) and it chaps my ass to see people preach against violence yet condone violence with violent words “kill yourself” “go play in traffic” or “die ___ scum.”
If you’re against violence, be against violence in your speech too.
No.
Try facing threats of violence or death on the daily, like so many trans* folks do.
Yes, of course - a cis PoC is going to face different discrimination than a white trans person. But I’m going out on a limb here and guessing that the person who submitted this is cis and white. Just because… most people who actually face discrimination are not nearly as sensitive to this topic. I could be wrong, and if I am, I’m sorry. But I’m going to continue my post under the assumption that the person who wrote this is cis and white.
You (as a white cis person) are not on the receiving end of death threats that are 100% due to the fact that the gender you live as doesn’t ‘match’ your genitalia. You do not have to live in fear of being killed because someone doesn’t like the fact that you exist.
“Die cis scum” is not a death threat, it’s just a phrase borne from anger. Trans* people are not conspiring to gang up and kill you just because you’re cis. That is not what this means at all.
Not all cis people are “cis scum,” anyway. Although - if you have a serious problem with the phrase, I suspect you probably are. “Cis scum” refers to the cis people who make it all about themselves. Who try to erase the experiences of trans* people. The people who get offended when a trans* person blows off some steam because life as a trans* person can be really difficult. Cis scum are the cis people who try to pretend that trans* folk are Just Like Us. Because well, they’re not. Trans* people live a unique life that you, as a cis person, cannot begin to understand. Because you don’t live it.
Cis scum are the ones who bully trans* people, who threaten, who erase, who cause damage in any way. They’re the people who try to make every conversation with a trans* person about the trans* experience, because it’s just so fascinating. Trans* people are REAL people with REAL feelings, and maybe they don’t want to always talk about the fact that they’re a woman who has a penis. Maybe they just want to talk about everyday stuff, but you won’t let them. Because you are curious to the point of invasion.
Cis scum are the people who make it so that trans* people are not safe in our present world.
And trans* people are not going to kill them. Okay, I can’t say with 100% certainty that this is the case. It could happen, I guess. But they’re not sitting around trying to figure out how they can destroy your perfect little scummy cis world. They say “die cis scum” in anger, because they are upset - hurt by you who believe you have a right to know their life story. Or, in more extreme cases, because they are tormented, bullied, and even physically harmed, by cis people who just hate them for the fact that they exist.
I fully support the right of trans* people to say “die cis scum.”
It has nothing to do with promoting violence. It has everything to do with promoting personal safety and mental health.

I love pop-art so what better way to express it by tattooing it in my wrist…this is one of my favorite work of Roy Lichtenstein
I have to tell you, I am really excited by this. I have seen so many Lichtenstein tattoos, big and small, and I have never seen them translated to tattooing so well. PLEASE GIVE YOUR GENIUS ARTIST CREDIT, because they deserve it for incorporating skin space, removing the boxed-in comic look and still making this an obvious and intact Lichenstein tattoo. BRAVO whoever you are.

I’m currently studying to be a fashion designer…. Fashion is my life… and my mother means the world to me. So I incorporated both with my mothers first initial “sewn” on the upper right side of my back… I am absolutely in love with it, and can’t wait to add on to it soon. Martin is such an amazing tattoo artist:)

Okay, but at the bottom, either the needle should be on top of the thread, or vice versa. The cross point should be opaque - that is, we shouldn’t see the outlines of both pieces. That just doesn’t make any sense. As it is right now, this means that at least one piece (either the needle or thread, or both) are transparent.
Little details go a long way, man.
